We have a current opening for a Senior Gas Distribution Engineer.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Engineer will act as, project engineer or project managerDirect a multi-discipline design team to meet project schedules and deadlinesPerform standard engineering analysis and provide recommendations associated with gas capacity requests, system operating procedures, equipment and facility integrity assessments, and system analysisPerform standard engineering analysis/calculations and designs (e.
g.
, site layout, piping design, material specification) associated with small scale complex or large-scale complex projectsIndependently collate and analyze data within one area using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats to support the department's decision-making processExecute instructions and requests, plan and organize resources and make appropriate arrangements to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and in line with relevant policies and processesDevelop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and share information that will benefit Mi-TechUndertake specific tasks of varying complexity to support colleagues in the design of technical solutionsBuild upon technical/professional skills within own area of specialty or of other processes to continually grow your contribution to the businessConduct specific projects within area of capability and perform engineering studies, analysis, and investigations to recommend corrective action in problem areas, or to prevent problemsWill review completed assignments by other drafters/designers for accuracy and completeness and will perform inter-disciplinary reviews of designs and drawings to confirm design compatibilityPosition requires the technical supervision of other drafters/designers.
This position also provides technical guidance to other drafters/designers in other disciplines or functional area.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering schoolProfessional Engineer certification requiredMinimum 5-7 years of gas distribution design experienceKnowledge of relevant industry practice, standards, and legislationKnowledge of current trends within the industry and developments in legislation or regulationValid driver's licenseThe ability to work independently with minimal supervisionApplicants must be detail-orientated and have the ability to multi-task Mi-Tech offers:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
